In the summer of 2011 I worked closely with creative director Phil Webster at Play Nicely on the titles for the ITV Rugby World Cup.
I was responsible for managing the pipeline for the whole project, as well as the FumeFX particle systems used to render the ink effect.
I think we created some pretty damn fine particle effects.
Opening title sequence for ITV1′s coverage of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The sequence is based around images created in ink – a reference to the native maori tattoos of New Zealand where the tournament is being held.
